Deruta hand-painted majolica centerpiece bowl, made in Italy and decorated in the traditional Renaissance-style palette of cobalt blue, green, yellow, and ochre. The interior features a profile portrait medallion of a Renaissance-style figure surrounded by scrolling foliate ornament, while the exterior displays a symmetrical foliate design. The bowl is supported by four sculpted feet and features elaborate green scroll handles rising from the rim. The underside is marked "Deruta Hand painted Made in Italy." Condition shows light surface wear and a visible hairline crack near one of the handle attachments. Please see photos for additional details. Dimensions: 16.25 x 10 x 7 in Weight: 4.8lbs
