Oil on canvas street scene signed H. ten Hoven, Hendrik ten Hoven a 20th century Dutch painter. The work depicts a view of a cobbled Dutch town street with stepped-gable buildings, figures in traditional dress, and a church tower in the distance. The painting is housed in an ornate giltwood frame with foliate carving and retains a “Hughes Galleries, Detroit” label on the reserve.
