Korean ceramic presentation vase with white floral decoration on a tan background, inscribed at the shoulder in Korean, “President of the Republic of Korea, Roh Tae-woo.” The vase is accompanied by a gilt brocade-covered fitted case and a carved wood display stand. The vase was gifted by President Roh Tae-woo to U.S. President George H.W. Bush and acquired from a U.S. government auction of presidential items and accompanied by a copy of a George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum receipt of delivery. A similar example was presented to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Vase is in good condition with a visible repair and associated hairline crack to the neck.
