Pair of antique riding crops, each showcasing distinct craftsmanship and materials. The first crop features a braided rawhide shaft with a stiff leather popper, and an elegant antler or bone handle accented with dark horn or wood and brass fittings. A braided wrist loop is secured at the handle. The second crop is constructed with a metal shaft and ornate spiral wrapped embellishments, terminating in a stitched and shaped leather popper. The handle is finished with a metal bulb and loop for hanging. Both crops show age appropriate wear with patina to the metal and light surface abrasions to the leather.
