Pair of mid-20th century Swedish engraved crystal vases by two renowned glassworks, Orrefors and Strombergshyttan. The clear crystal Orrefors vase features an etched scene of a courtly figure ascending steps toward a woman on a balcony, it is referred to as the 'Romeo and Juliet' vase. It retains its original red foil label and is signed on the base. The second vase, rendered in pale blue glass, is by Strombergshyttan and depicts a young woman with a bird. It is signed on the base. Both vases are in good condition.
