Vintage mid-century necklace and matching clip-on earring set featuring ornate gold-tone filigree metalwork and oval cabochons with romantic transfer scenes inspired by the works of Jean-Honore Fragonard. The large pendant depicts a pastoral couple surrounded by twisted rope and floral filigree, accented by faux pearls and aurora borealis rhinestones. The matching earrings feature the same scene and are marked "W. GERMANY" on the clip backs. The necklace secures with a spring ring clasp marked "MADE IN WEST GERMANY." Set is in good condition with some age consistent patina to the metal.
