1848 map of the West Indies, designed to accompany Smiths Geography for Schools. Drawn and engraved by Sherman & Smith and published by John Paine. Depicts regions including the Caribbean, parts of Central and South America, and the Gulf of Mexico. The map includes missionary stations, population figures, and territorial holdings of various European countries. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Most items are eligible for in-house shipping. A separate shipping invoice will be sent within 5 business days of the auction close. Large, heavy, fragile, or high-value items will receive a UPS shipping quote. Buyers may request a list of recommended third-party shippers if preferred. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Local pickup is available by appointment at our Ferndale, Michigan facility. Pickup or shipping must be scheduled within 15 business days of the invoice date to avoid storage fees.
