Memorabilia set from the final game at Detroit’s Tiger Stadium on September 27, 1999, famously referred to as “The Last Rumble at Michigan & Trumbull.” This lot includes a game-used umpire’s mask and an official Rawlings baseball, both signed by the umpiring crew. The black umpire’s mask is signed in silver ink by the American League umpiring crew, including Rocky Roe, Durwood Merrill, Jim Reynolds and Rick Reed. The mask shows expected game wear and is housed in a protective acrylic display case. Also included in the case is a signed official American League Baseball autographed in black in by the same umpiring crew. The set is completed with a framed photograph of Rocky Roe and letter authenticating the umpire crew’s participation and mask signing for charity. Lastly the set includes a small home plate replica signed by one umpire. Set is in good condition. Please see photos for additional details.
