A large blue and white ironstone covered tureen on footed base, decorated with floral and bird motifs and fitted with side handles and a domed lid with finial. The interior and underside bear the printed royal arms mark reading “Imp’l Ironstone China, Stoke Works,” associated with early Staffordshire potteries from the 1820s to 1830s. This example shows typical transfer-printed decoration of the period, with deep cobalt blue on a white ground. Piece is in good condition with expected glaze crazing, and light wear consistent with age.
