Large-scale Indian painting executed in opaque gouache on paper or board, illustrating a mythological scene with Krishna and the gopis. The composition is rendered in a traditional style reminiscent of Rajasthani or Pahari painting. Presented in a carved and gilt wooden frame with orange matting and decorative borders. The back is sealed in paper with hanging wire, no visible artist signature. Painting is in good condition under glass and frame shows minor wear.
