The Precision watch features a navy-blue dial with gold-tone Arabic numerals, a single diamond at 12 o’clock, and a two-tone expansion band. The back is marked “Precision by Gruen, GP418L, PC21, Battery 377, Japan Mov’t, Stainless Steel Back, Base Metal Bezel.” The Benrus watch has a classic rectangular case with ornate floral filigree on either side of the dial, a domed crystal, and an expansions band marked “Speidel USA.” The back of the Benrus case is marked “Benrus 14K,” indicating a solid gold case.
