Parks and dated January 31, March 31, and April 30, 1980, during her tenure as a congressional aide to Representative John Conyers. Issued by the U.S. Treasury and marked “Not Negotiable – Do Not Cash,” the documents include detailed payroll information such as gross pay, deductions, and employment contributions. The statements are printed on official U.S. government check stock and are addressed to Rosa L. Parks at her Detroit, Michigan residence, providing direct historical association with the civil rights leader’s post-movement public service career.
