Large decorative set of ‘The Romances of Alexandre Dumas,’ published by Little, Brown, and Company (Boston) in the late 19th century with copyright dates of 1888 to 1893 present. The collection includes numerous volumes from major Dumas cycles such as “The Three Musketeers,” “The D’Artagnan Romances,” “The Valois Romances,” “The Antoinette Romances,” and “Memoirs of a Physician.” Each book is bound in uniform teal cloth with ornate gilt Art Nouveau-style decoration to the spines. Condition is consistent with age and use, showing shelf wear, rubbing to the extremities, soften corners, and some fading to the cloth.
