19th century framed engraving titled "Twelfth Night," depicting a scene from Act II, Scene III of Shakespeare's play. The composition features Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, the Clown, and Maria in a comedic tableau. The image is based on the original painting by Henry Perronet Briggs, with engraving by J. Rogers and publication by J. Major. The engraving reads, "MAR.: What a caterwauling do you keep here!" Labels and writing on the reverse include a Galerie Schoninger label, an Austrian customs stamp and a handwritten inscription referring to a Prof. Simon of Munich.
