English Staffordshire figural porcelain table lamp depicting an 18th century courting couple seated in a pastoral setting. The figures are hand-painted in traditional polychrome enamels over a cream ground. The porcelain figure is mounted to a wood base and fitted with a brass-tone standard, harp, and decorative pierced finial. The lamp is accompanied by a fabric shade.
